About The Position

This role is responsible for operational excellence, data and digital literacy, mechatronics, automation system design, process flow design, project management, engineering economics, and advanced analytics. The position may work at various unanticipated Walmart locations throughout the U.S.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related experience OR 4 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related experience.
  • Experience with: Utilize industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft planner to successfully meet specific project goals and milestones.
  • Experience with: Utilize Automation Assembly and knowledgeable in electrical equipment (PLCs, VFDs, IDFs), with skills in integrating these systems into automation machines.
  • Experience with: Test automation machines and a solid understanding of HMI screen interfaces for efficient operation of automation systems.
  • Experience with: R, Python, SQL, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with: Conduct comprehensive data analysis on historical entries.
  • Experience with: Strategic planning and effective resource allocation within project management.
  • Experience with: Optimize material flow using simulation models of assembly lines or similar systems.
  • Experience with: Develop algorithms in Excel, for optimizing processes based on various parameters.
  • Experience with: Assist design teams in drawing development, applying design skills through AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Experience with: Conduct statistical analysis on demand and supply data, with the ability to create time series forecasts for production/operations.
  • Experience with: Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Process Flow Charts.
  • Experience with: Optimize workflows using tools such as 5S, Poka-yoke.
