Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Manager, Applications Development & Engineering to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C. offices. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices. This position manages the development teams delivering strategic legal applications and overseeing delivery processes. Requirements

• 10+ years in software delivery
• 3+ years in managerial roles
• Bachelor's Degree in: computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related technical/STEM field
• Deep understanding of DevOps, Agile, cloud architecture.
• Experience in technology budgeting and portfolio management.
• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or technical master’s a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple development teams, ensuring ROI-aligned delivery.
• Define KPIs, budgets, and SLAs for application portfolio.
• Implement and maintain DevOps, CI/CD, and quality frameworks.
• Mentor and hire top engineering talent.
• Liaise between IT and business to align technical strategy.
