About The Position

The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Manager & PGY2 Program Director is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of clinical services provided by the ambulatory pharmacy team and oversees the post-graduate year two ambulatory pharmacy program. This individual will be responsible for recruiting and precepting residents and students. The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Manager & PGY2 Program Director will report to the AVP, Value-based Care Administration- IMC. The individual in this role will develop pharmacy driven workflows and processes to integrate pharmacy services in the ambulatory setting and develop initiatives to support achieving shared savings in Inspira’s value-based programs. This role will provide direct supervision for the ambulatory pharmacy team and function as a working leader to perform clinical services related to clinical practice, education, and standards of pharmaceutical care.

Requirements

  • College or School of Pharmacy Accredited by American Council on Pharmaceutical Education required.
  • Active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license required.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board Certification in Ambulatory Care required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
  • ASHP Accredited Residency preferred.
  • Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred.
  • Immunization Pharmacist certification preferred.
  • Medication Therapy Management certification preferred.
