About The Position

CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and multi-cultural world. The Manager, Ambassador Programs is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, monitoring, and evaluating all CIEE ambassadors on programs and at US campuses. You will coordinate cross-organizationally to build a team of influencers actively promoting CIEE on social media and in-person at college campus events with the goal of increasing participation on CIEE study abroad programs. The role requires adaptive project management skills, strong systems and organisational skills, the ability to achieve recruitment and referral goals, and the ability to manage cohort students both abroad and on their home campuses to achieve those goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
  • A Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, campus advertising, campus events/activities, social media, political campaign outreach, remote volunteer management, or similar.
  • Readiness to grow and develop yourself, our client group, and our company.
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills.
  • Creative thinker, strong project management and organisational skills, as well as ability to manage remote teams.
  • Proven track record for managing deadlines.
  • Welcomes feedback on work and loves to incorporate innovative or new ideas.
  • Ability to embrace CIEE's Core Values (Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and Problem Solving) and culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with systems such as Canva, Slack, WhatsApp, CRM system (Salesforce), and Asana is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all systems and processes related to recruitment, training, and monitoring of Ambassadors.
  • Develop a recruitment, onboarding, training, and sales and marketing plan to meet annual ambassador recruitment and referral goals.
  • Train internal sales and marketing teams on all aspects of the ambassador program.
  • Recruit Ambassadors throughout the year to be on-program content creators, and/or student-facing campus ambassadors upon return.
  • Coordinate across all College Study Abroad teams, global operations teams, and other internal CIEE stakeholders to ensure the communications, systems and processes are aligned to support all efforts related to the ambassador program.
  • Manage and measure success of both individual student ambassadors as well as the program and cohorts overall, creating and sharing clear metrics to keep ambassadors engaged and on track, as well as to report out internally.
  • Pilot and test new outreach tactics and strategies to improve ambassador outreach and engagement and share outcomes.
  • Identify internal business needs and recommend specific solutions to new or changing customer needs.
