The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries. CHAI works with governments and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems. Founded in 2002, CHAI has expanded its focus from HIV/AIDS to include infectious diseases like COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, as well as non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. The organization also works to accelerate vaccine rollouts, reduce maternal and child mortality, combat chronic malnutrition, and increase access to assistive technology. CHAI invests in strengthening health systems through programs in human resources for health, digital health, and health financing, with a strategy focused on sustainable impact at scale, government leadership, national scalability, and global knowledge sharing. CHAI values its diverse team of enthusiastic individuals across 40 countries and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering diversity and inclusion. CHAI is undergoing a significant shift in its use of AI, and this role is central to that transformation. As the Manager, AI Transformation, you will be the primary point person for internal AI adoption, identifying opportunities, assessing what's working, guiding staff on effective and responsible tool usage across more than 35 countries. You will own CHAI's internal AI adoption agenda and collaborate with teams organization-wide to implement it. This is not an engineering role; success hinges on building the systems, training, and relationships necessary for staff to effectively utilize AI, ensuring the organization's AI investment yields tangible benefits. With Claude for Enterprise and other tools already deployed, you will be able to start immediately. Key responsibilities include managing the AI governance process for safety, leading change management and communications for AI rollouts, developing and administering training programs, and managing vendor relationships. You will also collaborate with internal builders on shared organizational resources. This position is part of CHAI’s Global Operations function and reports to the Director, Global Operations, working closely with the technical AI builder team and the Innovation team.
