About The Position

This is a new role in a newly established AI & Data Governance function, bringing together data, AI, and risk governance into a single enterprise model. This role offers the opportunity to build on core expertise in data governance, data quality, or data management while growing into AI governance. The Manager - AI Governance will support the execution and advocating of the enterprise Data & AI Governance framework, ensuring governance policies and artifacts are applied across the organization. This is a hands-on data governance role where the individual will be an operational contributor, coordinating governance activities, maintaining core artifacts, and promoting adoption across business and technology teams. The role also provides exposure to AI governance activities, including use cases, risk, and lifecycle checkpoints, and integrating data, AI, and risk governance at an enterprise scale.

Requirements

Experience operating business programs within a global environment.
Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and their application within programs.
Experience of project management or operating management processes, balancing value, risk, and organizational readiness.
1+ years of experience supporting programmes across multiple regions, functions, or business domains.

Responsibilities

Embed data governance frameworks and processes
Work with Data Owners and Stewards to increase adoption and accountability
Support data quality management, Goals, and issue resolution
Maintain governance artifacts (catalog, glossary, metadata)
Coordinate governance forums and partner engagement
Gain exposure to AI governance activities (use cases, risk, lifecycle checkpoints)
Integrate data, AI, and risk governance at enterprise scale
