About The Position

The Manager, Agency Account Management reporting to Director, Brand & Creative Enablement is responsible for supporting the management and execution of the RBC's agency management framework within Brand & Creative Enablement. This role ensures our creative agency partnerships maintain operational excellence, financial accountability, and measurable brand value by executing governance processes, SLA monitoring, budget tracking, and integrated marketing calendar coordination. The role serves as the day-to-day operational link between internal stakeholders and external agency partners, supporting strong partnerships that drive brand excellence and business results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in agency management, marketing operations, or vendor/partner management within financial services or a large enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing agency budgets of significant scale, including forecasting, tracking, and financial reporting
  • Proven track record building and implementing governance frameworks, SLAs, and performance management processes
  • Experience managing multiple agency relationships simultaneously with strong stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain agency governance frameworks—including engagement protocols, approval workflows, and quality standards—that support clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority across agency partnerships.
  • Manage agency budget tracking, and reporting, across all partnerships. Monitor spending against approved budgets, deliver regular financial reporting to the Director, and identify inconsistencies or opportunities while maintaining quality.
  • Monitor and report on service-level agreements with agency partners to Director, supporting ongoing management and SLA compliance.
  • Track KPIs—including quality, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction—conduct regular performance reviews and recommend improvement plans when gaps are identified.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders (Marketing, Brand, Supplier Management , Business Units) and agency partners.
  • Support the integrated marketing calendar capturing all agency-supported initiatives. Monitor timing and resource allocation across multiple agencies and campaigns, identify conflicts or opportunities, and provide visibility into upcoming work and resource needs.
  • Support opportunities to strengthen agency relationships and deliver additional value.
  • Stay informed on agency capabilities, industry trends, and best practices; facilitate knowledge sharing between agencies and internal teams; and support onboarding and integration of new agency partners.
