About The Position

Within Walmart Connect, the Platform & Infrastructure Enablement (PIE) team helps Analytics teams use platforms and infrastructure effectively, optimize technical workflows, automate recurring technical work, and build reusable platforms that can scale across teams. The team's goal is to help Analytics teams operate and scale efficiently through reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms, infrastructure, and technical workflows. The role requires strong technical judgment and the ability to independently investigate complex problems, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement across Analytics workflows and infrastructure. Success means independently owning complex technical challenges across analytical workloads, infrastructure, and automation, delivering measurable improvements in performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and cost, and helping Analytics teams improve how their code and workflows are developed and operated.

  • Improve infrastructure efficiency across workflows, datasets, storage, and compute, and automate recurring operational work such as scheduled workloads, monitoring, and alerts.
  • Improve development and DevOps practices for Analytics code and workflows, including source control, job scheduling, configuration, deployment, and operational monitoring.
