We are seeking a strategic, data-driven finance professional to modernize and elevate our Accounts Payable function. This role sits at the center of our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem and partners closely with Accounts Payable Operations, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Treasury, and Information Technology to drive operational excellence, automation, and financial integrity. You will serve as a performance improvement leader in identifying opportunities, architecting solutions, and executing initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance visibility into cash flow and working capital. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, with strong exposure to AP and P2P operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement or automation initiatives.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working within ERP environments.
  • Analytical rigor paired with strategic thinking.
  • Executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Transformation & Automation Diagnose process inefficiencies across the AP lifecycle and design scalable, future-state solutions.
  • Lead automation initiatives including OCR, ERP enhancements, and workflow optimization tools.
  • Improve invoice throughput, increase straight-through processing, and reduce manual intervention.
  • Accelerate month-end close timelines while maintaining strong financial controls.
  • Performance Management & Data Intelligence Leverage data analytics to identify trends, root causes, and sustainable performance gains.
  • Translate operational metrics into strategic insights for leadership.
  • Establish KPI frameworks that drive accountability and measurable improvement.
  • Build actionable dashboards and reporting tools using advanced Excel and ERP systems.
  • Controls, Risk & Compliance Excellence Strengthen internal controls across the P2P process.
  • Ensure accuracy and discipline in 3-way match execution and vendor master data management.
  • Maintain oversight of tax compliance requirements, including 1099 reporting and vendor documentation standards.
  • Enhance audit readiness through proactive process review and governance improvements.
  • Enterprise Partnership & Strategic Influence Partner with IT to optimize ERP capabilities and expand AP automation.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Accounting to ensure seamless end-to-end process alignment.
  • Work closely with Treasury to enhance cash flow visibility and optimize payment timing.
  • Resolve complex AP matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and urgency.
  • Project & Strategic Leadership Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Contribute meaningfully to departmental strategy and long-term modernization roadmaps.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive change without direct authority.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
