WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Manager, Accounting to serve as the operational accounting lead in a growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, this individual will oversee a team of financial accountants and own a broad range of month-end and quarter-end close activities. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organized, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative. The person will also bring a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies. In this role, you will be a key contributor with regular exposure to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
Advanced organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (gSuite)
Demonstrated ability to optimize accounting and finance processes
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience working with international teams and intercompany accounting/consolidation
Experience working with the tokenisation of software expense experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm preferred
CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
Experience in a high-growth, publicly traded company environment preferred
Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Numeric preferred

Responsibilities

Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation and review of GAAP-compliant journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports, and flux analyses
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple legal entities, including cash, accruals, payroll and benefits accounting, operating expenses, cost of revenue, software expenses and headcount and costing allocations
Coordinate and support statutory compliance and audits for international entities
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP
Identify and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives and SOX compliance enhancements, document and monitor internal controls
Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the month-end close process
Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors, including preparation and review of PBC deliverables
Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners and other departments to gather financial data and enhance reporting processes
Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis team members to help determine causes around budget variances
Be a central point of contact for queries directed to the corporate accounting for internal stakeholders and assist and lead ad-hoc projects
Manage key accounting systems and lead or support system optimization initiatives
Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, including performance management and career development
