About The Position

As the Manager, Accounting you will be part of team who ensures completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls in supporting the Enercare West business unit.

Requirements

Accounting/Finance/Business Degree and CPA designation required
Minimum of 4-7 years’ of business experience including financial analysis and reporting
Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point
Good written and verbal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
A self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines and executing
Able to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

Own and manage month-end close
Lead all close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Review and post journal entries
Identify and resolve close issues proactively
Own the end-to-end balance sheet reconciliation process
Ensure all accounts are fully supported, reviewed, and cleared on a timely basis
Drive clean up of legacy issues and establish sustainable processes
Implement standardized workflows across SAP and Service Titan
Strengthen controls and reduce reliance on manual processes
Work across SAP and Service Titan to ensure accuracy of financial data
Improve data flows and reduce manual adjustments at month-end
Manage and develop a small team (1–2 direct reports)
Set clear expectations on deliverables, timelines, and quality
Provide hands-on coaching on technical accounting and reconciliations
Partner with IT, Sales Operations, and other business stakeholders
Investigate variances, unusual trends, and reconciling items
Provide clear, actionable insights to management
