About The Position

Supporting QVC, you will manage general ledger accounting processes specifically related to the end-to-end cash process, prepaid process, and the 'procure to pay' (P2P) cycle, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policy. You will be responsible for reviewing and/or preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables, while helping maintain strong financial controls and reporting integrity. This position partners cross-functionally with finance and business teams to analyze account activity, resolve variances, and support reporting requirements related to cash, prepaids and the procure to pay (P2P) cycle. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting and contributes to continuous process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency across accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior management experience required.
  • 5+ years experience applying US GAAP principles and maintaining SOX compliant controls in a corporate accounting environment.
  • 5+ years experience serving as the primary accounting partner for Finance, Treasury or Audit to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; polished executive presence
  • Advanced experience using Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of three across the US and Poland shared services center, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Own general ledger accounting processes related to cash, prepaids, and the procure to pay cycle.
  • Oversee month-end close to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to determine accounting treatment for business activities and initiatives.
  • Maintain internal controls through SOX documentation, certification support, and coordination with Internal Audit and Internal Controls.
  • Support internal and external audits through documentation preparation and auditor coordination.
