About The Position

AppDirect is seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting professional to join their team. This role is responsible for leading the accounting function in a fast-moving environment, ensuring accuracy and ownership in all financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full accounting close cycle, experience leading a team, and proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial operations and growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to full-cycle close and financial reporting
• 2+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• CPA designation preferred
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and acquisitions is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery across all reporting cycles
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting investor reporting as needed
• Own the general ledger — maintaining the system, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring reconciliations are complete and correct
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures that keep AppDirect audit-ready year-round
• Partner with the external audit team annually, coordinating documentation and responses across the finance function
• Manage and grow a team of at least two direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and clear direction on priorities
• Support acquisition-related financial integrations as they arise, working cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition
• Support multinational foreign entities and assist with financial consolidation processes.
