About The Position

The Manager, Accounting - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is responsible for planning and directing the accounting activities of the department. Providing oversight of general ledger accounts, financial statements and preparation of reports for upper management. Contributes to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. Manages month-end closing processes and procedures; ensure accuracy and timely completion to meet department and company deadlines. Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards. Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
  • 6+ years accounting experience.
  • 3+ years management experience.
  • Experience with SAP / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP or similar ERP.
