About The Position

The Project Manager drives project performance, running it as if it were their own business. The PM is responsible to deliver projects on time and at budget, beginning with the hand over from the sales team at contract signature through the closeout of the warranty period. Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company's rules and policies. Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable. Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI). Maintain and safeguard business records. Utilizes and follows project scheduling and planning tools per defined company processes. Maintains project plans regularly and provides reports to supervisor/manager. Develops and executes plans to meet both project and product cost targets and drives their performance. Responsible for meeting assigned project(s), shipment, and financial performance goals; regularly reports to management on progress and performance. Responsible for the implementation of assigned new product development and product/program production readiness. Participates in or leads project meetings and design reviews, and tracks progress of day to day commitments. Monitors project progress vs. staffing plan and reports any resource constraints. Make recommendations on changes or work-arounds Ensures that problems and issues are dealt with in a structured manner, using accepted problem solving and root cause analysis. Drives corrective actions to a conclusion. Manages the project's risk and opportunities; tracks progress and provides reports to supervisor/manager. Responsible for populating cost models and validating the accuracy of all cost inputs. Responsible for execution of customer management strategy - works closely with customer personnel on project status, including technical or schedule issues, and pricing. Aids in the development of new business by providing as needed support for proposals. Complies with and supports company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA and the Code of Ethics and business conduct. Resolves or escalates issues in a timely manner; often involves manager and project team.
