The Neuroscience Major in the College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Manager, Academic Program Services to support the Neuroscience Undergraduate Program. This role involves evaluating program effectiveness, aiding in program assessment and development, and managing curriculum changes. The Manager will chair the Undergraduate Studies Committee, address academic and curricular needs, and oversee advising services. Responsibilities include managing and training advising and student staff, evaluating petitions, verifying graduation applications, and supervising the Pre-Major program and specializations. The role also involves overseeing transfer credit evaluation and articulation agreements, developing marketing materials, managing the program budget, and directing academic and enrichment programming for students. Additionally, the Manager will supervise orientations, develop student recruitment and retention programs, act as a liaison with professional organizations, develop protocols, track program data, oversee survey course offerings, and serve as an instructor for the undergraduate survey course as needed. Maintaining current information and resources, including curriculum sheets, promotional materials, the program website, and professional and social media, is also a key part of the role.
