About The Position

Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a dynamic full-time Regional Operations Support Manager 2 (ROSI) to drive innovation and quality across its healthcare accounts across the United States. This role aims to elevate patient care through operational excellence in areas such as Patient Services, Culinary-Executive Chef, or Retail Operations. The position requires 100% travel, flexibility in work hours, and a valid driver's license. This is a temporary position, expected to last 6-18 months, with the potential for a permanent role. The role involves supporting hospital accounts on the National Deployment Team, focusing on leading large teams, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Success in this role requires strong operational skills, organizational and structuring competency, and a proven track record of successful partnerships. The role also involves significant travel throughout North America and requires obtaining a company-issued credit card.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of functional work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) or HTM.
  • Strong culinary background in a high-volume environment (for chefs).
  • Healthcare experience (for custodial managers).
  • Strong management skills and experience (for retail openings).
  • Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends.
  • Ability to successfully lead, develop, and train a team.
  • Creative and effective problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused.
  • Proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction.
  • Willingness to travel 100% across the United States and potentially North America.
  • Flexibility to work hours based on business needs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a company-issued credit card.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family, and staff daily.
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day operations for custodial roles.
  • Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospitals.
  • Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding, inclusive of service recovery.
  • Manage cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
  • Mentor, develop, and retain frontline staff.
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
