About The Position

1ST GEAR! is SIXT's global Management Trainee Program, a 12-month intensive journey designed to accelerate participants into leadership roles within the company. The program offers hands-on experience, responsibility, and skill development necessary to lead in the mobility sector. Upon successful completion, graduates are guaranteed a leadership position, such as managing a branch or joining an airport leadership team. The program seeks ambitious, curious, and proactive individuals ready to make an impact and shape the future of mobility.

Requirements

Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership.
Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
At least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Take on responsibility early in the 12-month program.
Support the achievement of operational goals.
Contribute to greater efficiency and shared success within the team.
Gain insights into key business areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management.
Develop along clear learning and performance goals.
Work in the operational day-to-day business from day one as a Rental Sales Agent.
Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job.
