About The Position

The 1ST GEAR! Management Trainee Program at SIXT is a 12-month intensive program designed to develop individuals into leadership roles within the company. Participants will gain hands-on experience in various business areas, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management. The program emphasizes early responsibility, operational involvement, and skill development in areas like communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving. Graduates are guaranteed a leadership position within the United States.

Requirements

Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management.
Have a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead.
Strong communication skills in English.
Work independently, solve problems, and take ownership.
Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Have at least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Take on responsibility early in the 12-month program.
Support the achievement of operational goals.
Contribute to greater efficiency and shared success within the team.
Gain insights into key business areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management.
Develop further along clear learning and performance goals.
Work in the operational day-to-day business from day one, getting to know all aspects of core operations from sales to fleet operations.
Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job.
