About The Position

1ST GEAR! is SIXT's global Management Trainee Program, a 12-month intensive journey designed to develop individuals into leadership roles within the company. Participants gain hands-on experience in various business areas, take on responsibilities, and develop essential skills. The program guarantees a leadership position upon successful completion, such as managing a branch or joining an airport leadership team. The role involves supporting operational goals, contributing to efficiency, and gaining insights into Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management. Trainees work in daily operations, receive training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving, and collaborate with management to learn leadership skills.

Requirements

Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership.
Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate.
May require periodic travel of up to 50% during the first year of the program.
May require temporary assignments across various locations within the United States.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
At least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job.
