About The Position

The 1ST GEAR! Management Trainee Program at SIXT is a 12-month intensive program designed to accelerate participants into leadership roles within the company. The program offers hands-on experience in various business areas, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management. Trainees will gain insights into the day-to-day operations, from sales to fleet management, and receive training in essential skills like communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving. They will collaborate with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job. Upon successful completion, graduates are guaranteed a leadership position within the United States, with potential for managing a branch or joining an airport leadership team. The program emphasizes a growth mindset, leadership potential, communication skills, proactivity, and adaptability.

Requirements

Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership.
Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate.
May require periodic travel of up to 50% during the first year of the program as well as temporary assignments across various locations within the United States.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Have at least 1 year of driving experience.
