Support payroll responsibilities between 150 and up to 350 teammates under the Nurse Managers' supervision. Scope of responsibility includes multiple units, departments and in some cases campuses. This role requires knowledge of system policies, procedures, and labor management guidelines. The assistant ensures time code allocation is accurate, monitors time and labor edits, trends, and discrepancies. They also monitor appropriate use of incremental and general OT by teammate, department, or unit, and manage daily scheduling changes for staff. Additionally, the role involves tracking monthly healthcare teammate license verification and documentation, maintaining ShiftSelect credential updates, and tracking teammate PTO to ensure requests are eligible for approval. MLOA/FMLA reports and monthly reconciliation are also part of the responsibilities. The assistant will participate as requested in candidate interviews, maintain A&C records and biweekly reconciliation reports, and maintain an adequate knowledge base of healthcare trends and regulations. Monitoring premium pay programs, managing several projects at one time, and providing general support to assigned Nurse Managers are key functions. The role also includes providing support for cross-functional areas as needed and supporting additional operational projects that contribute to the overall performance of identified goal areas.
