About The Position

DHL Consulting, established in 1999, is an integral part of DHL, providing a broad range of management consulting services to all DHL business units and global functions, with direct access to top management. Additionally, it delivers strategic logistics consulting projects for external customers, including some of the world's leading global firms. The team comprises over 130 consultants across Germany, Singapore, and the USA, valuing innovative minds and diverse backgrounds. This specific role focuses on serving customers and Business Units in the Americas Region (North and South America), though some assignments may be conducted globally.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • English is required.
  • Academic records including test scores and professional records showcasing dedication and talent.
  • Passion and engagement in social causes, sports, or other interests.
  • International work experience or study abroad background.
  • Diverse background and experiences.
  • At least 6 months of relevant practical experience (e.g., consulting, strategy, finance or project-based internships).
  • Being a solution-oriented problem solver, approaching challenges with creativity and resilience.
  • Strategic approach and outstanding presentation skills.
  • Team spirit, collaborative mindset, and open-hearted approach.

Responsibilities

  • Join an inclusive, diverse team and work on exciting consulting projects across various functional areas and topics (e.g., M&A, Business Transformation, Growth Strategy, Network Design, etc.).
  • Drive high-impact analyses and recommendations for customers as a valued member of the international team.
  • Be a trusted advisor for top management within the Americas region, both internally for DHL business units and externally for customers across sectors.
  • Work closely with colleagues, supporting each other to develop new strategies for customers' business models.
  • Take early ownership and responsibility within a project team, with autonomy and recognition.
  • Embrace creative thinking to shape innovative business ideas that make a real impact.
  • Enjoy open communication and collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring efficient project work and direct presentation of ideas to key decision-makers.
  • Shine in one of the Practice Groups (e.g., DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain, etc.), Sectors (e.g., Technology, Consumer & Retail), or Focus Topics (e.g., Sustainability, Growth).
