As an LCS Training and Manpower Support you will be providing Logistics Management Support and Configuration Management Support. -Participate in the development of project plans and schedules. Monitor the status of west coast LCS training projects and provides updates to stakeholders on the progress, issues, and provides assessments of risk to completion of projects. Provide verbal and / or written reports of meetings and outcomes to Manpower and Training (MPT) Lead. -Assist with planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of manpower, personnel, and training (MP&T) technical products and services directed toward maintaining and improving fleet readiness. -Oversee and monitor the modernization and upgrades of three Integrated Tactical Trainers (ITT), three Bridge Part Task Trainers (BPTT), Twin Boom Extensible Crane simulator, and 12 Virtual Reality Labs – to current shipboard configurations. Work with Program Managers to ensure training system updates are aligned to the training requirements of Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC), provide verbal and / or written reports of meetings and outcomes. -Participate in Change review Boards (CRB) and Change Control Boards (CCB) for Ship Change Documents (SCD) that may impact LCS training systems. Provide assessments of potential system requirement changes. -Assist in the analysis and development of all LCS 2 Variant Manpower and training documents to include, but not limited to: Preliminary Ships Manpower Document (PSMD), Naval System Training Plans (NTSP), Billet Training Profiles (BTP). Conduct the manpower analysis calculations for INDEPENDENCE, and FREEDOM variant hulls and crews as required. -Determine training requirements for Sailors assigned to LCS ships. Conduct reviews with LCSRON and CNSP of individual training tracks to ensure the correct training is assigned to the correct billets and is in accordance with current TYCOM requirements. -Work with LCSRON to ensure training requirements are known and accounted for within MPT documentation including Navy Training Systems Plans (NTSPs), Preliminary Ships Manning Documents (PSMDs), and Billet Training Profiles (BTPs). -Provide logistical support for training system equipment installation, sustainment, and maintenance to COMNAVSURFPAC, LCSRON ONE, SCSTC, LTFPAC, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), OPNAV N96, US Fleet Forces (USFF), Afloat Training Group (ATG), and PMS339 Program managers. De-conflict issues and schedules to ensure training systems are installed and operational on time. -Up to 25% travel required: Dahlgren VA, Newport RI and Mayport FL (two / three times per year for five days each).
