About The Position

The City of Beverly Hills, a high-performance organization known for superior customer service, is seeking an enthusiastic Management Analyst to join the Administrative Support Division of the Community Services Department. This department provides a wide range of services to enhance the quality of life in Beverly Hills, including cultural, educational, recreational, and social programs. The Management Analyst will play a key role in managing department Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs), approximately 200 contracts and agreements, and the annual contract planning cycle. This role also involves providing budget and fiscal analysis for the department's four divisions, overseeing the City's charitable contributions allocations, and administering grant requests and distributions. Additionally, the position will offer administrative support to related City Commissions. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities in a customer-focused environment, working effectively with diverse groups, and possess prior ERP, budget, and contract experience. This position reports directly to the Community Services Manager.

Requirements

  • Three years of general administrative and management experience
  • Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior ERP experience

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities within a strong customer focused organization
  • Capacity to work effectively with employees at various levels of the organization, City officials, and community members
  • Ability to work well within a fast paced and team oriented environment
