The Management Analyst II serves as a strategic partner within Office of Inspector General (OIG), specializing in business process analysis, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives that advance the agency’s mission, vision, values, and core functions. Working collaboratively with Operations staff and OIG’s core divisions, the Management Analyst II performs complex (journey-level) professional, organizational, consultative, and policy analysis. This role designs, leads, and implements studies to evaluate and improve systems, processes, and procedures. The position is responsible for developing and delivering briefing documents, reports, dashboards, and presentations to OIG leadership. Effective communication in written and verbal with executive leadership, external partners, and interagency stakeholders is essential. The Management Analyst II will represent OIG on committees, task forces, and interagency workgroups, as assigned. As a lead for assigned projects, the Management Analyst II provides direction and subject matter expertise to project teams and may guide or mentor other staff. The role operates under general supervision with moderate latitude for exercising initiative, independent judgment, and problem-solving.
