About The Position

This position involves the review, examination, and evaluation of organizational structures, administrative policies, and management systems within Maine Revenue Services (MRS). Responsibilities include analyzing activities and work problems, summarizing findings, preparing reports, and recommending changes in organizational structures, programs, policies, procedures, or practices in administrative, financial, records, and information management systems. Work may include overseeing, monitoring, and assigning work to employees. Work is performed under limited supervision.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and validating daily revenue summary report.
  • Preparing and validating daily statistics.
  • Processing twice daily ICL deposits.
  • Processing cash and manual deposits, as needed.
  • Processing bank adjustments.
  • Completing 1080 reconciliations.
  • Ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Maintaining temp worker rosters and reviewing weekly invoices.
  • Verifying cash logs.
  • Managing checks and forms (including re-imaging or deletion).
  • Handling non-revenue processing.
  • Responding to system ticket requests.
  • Troubleshooting scanner issues or system errors.
  • Preparing OPC reports.
  • Contributing to monthly or periodic management reports.
  • Ensuring all completed work is properly recorded and compliant with procedures.
  • Conducting MRS research requests.
  • Performing TRIPS report reviews.
  • Performing management reports reviews.
  • Providing migration support.
  • Validating and compiling daily financial data.
  • Reconciling accounts and transactions.
  • Performing operational processing.
  • Documenting activities and producing required reports.
  • Conducting research and analysis.
