About The Position

The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a Management Analyst 2 in Carson City, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Fiscal. The Management Analyst 2 will serve as the Fiscal Contract Manager and oversee the Division’s contract portfolio and serves as the Division’s Certified Contract Manager. This position manages the full lifecycle of contractual agreements, including but not limited to coordinating bid solicitations, developing and facilitating Requests for Proposals and managing lease agreements delegated by State Purchasing or Leasing Services. The role also acts as the Division’s primary liaison with contractors, providers, and State partners, and contributes to the development of the biennial budget. This position includes supervision of assigned staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines, and skilled in communication and collaboration. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required, along with the ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and maintain professionalism. The Fiscal Contract Manager must adhere to all State policies, regulations, and compliance requirements. Must maintain a valid NV Driver’s License. Requirements

  • Two or more years of applicable experience as described in the job duties
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and maintain professionalism.
  • Must maintain a valid NV Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analyze legislative implications.
  • Determine software application program needs or requirements.
  • Review and monitor contracts.
  • Make recommendations on policy and procedure improvements.
  • Provide recommendations to management regarding programs and/or work unit activities.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Review, write, revise, and recommend administrative policies or procedures for the work unit and/or assigned programs.
  • Conduct statistical or investigative studies, compile and analyze data, and prepare and present reports summarizing study results and conclusions.
  • Develop, manage, review, and make recommendations on contracts and the contracting process.
  • Review, monitor, and research bills submitted to the Legislature impacting the work unit, inform management of possible implications, and recommend an appropriate course of action.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
