Managed Care Analyst / Managed Care / Full Time
About The Position
This role focuses on managed care analysis within a full-time capacity. The position requires a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, managed care operations, and various coding systems such as CPT, DRGs, and ICD-10. Proficiency in hospital and physician billing is also important. The analyst will need to demonstrate advanced Excel skills, intermediate Word and PowerPoint capabilities, strong analytical abilities, and adaptability to new software. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role. The incumbent is expected to achieve basic proficiency within the first three months of employment.

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, economics, data science, or a related field
- Associate’s degree in healthcare, or finance with 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, managed care, financial analysis, or a similar field (in lieu of a degree)
- One year of relevant experience
- Completed a healthcare- or finance-related internship with strong references or possess a significant managed care or analytical background (if no experience)
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement
