Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, economics, data science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in healthcare, or finance with 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting may be considered.
  • In lieu of a degree; a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, managed care, financial analysis, or a similar field.
  • One year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Candidates without experience must have completed a healthcare- or finance-related internship with strong references or possess a significant managed care or analytical background.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Adaptability to new software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Achieve basic proficiency within three months.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement.
