About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a friendly, professional, and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join their team and help deliver exceptional patient care. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a patient-focused clinical environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR licensed to perform general radiographic procedures in the state of Utah REQUIRED.
Completion of 40 hours of mammography training
Completion of 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA-qualified individual
Completion of 8 hours of training in mammographic modality
Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment
Current BLS certification
Prolonged standing and walking
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and imaging equipment

Nice To Haves

Experience with breast ultrasound preferred (or willingness to train)

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with radiologists and willingness to assist colleagues as needed
Assist with advanced mammography procedures
Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety standards, and sterile techniques
Prepare patients for mammography exams, including pre-screening, reviewing medical history, and proper gowning
Perform mammography procedures using proper positioning and technique to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
Assist in optimizing and implementing imaging protocols to enhance image quality
