Mammography Technologist (PRN)
About The Position
We are hiring a Flexi Mammo Tech to conduct general screening and diagnostic Mammography and/or Bone Densitometry imaging studies of patients. This role involves working within the scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Key responsibilities include patient positioning for correct anatomy/pathology demonstration, operation of radiation producing equipment and electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient rooms, equipment, and medications, and maintaining adequate supply inventory. The technologist will also explain examinations and procedures to patients and complete all necessary departmental documentation. The position will consider registry eligible graduates, who must be registered within 180 days of hire and obtain ARRT (M) certification within 1 year of hire.
Requirements
- ALD Radiologic Science Certification/Licensure
- ARRT certification
- Must be registered within 180 days of hire (if registry eligible graduate)
- Must be ARRT (M) within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- Conducts general screening and diagnostic Mammography and/or Bone Densitometry imaging studies of patients
