Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• 2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years from date of hire.
• Reg Technologist (R) (M) License
• Mammo Quality Stand Act Req License
• Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in Mammography

Responsibilities

• Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma.
• Programs the machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
• Prepares, maintains, and operates mammography equipment safely and responsibly, following radiation safety guidelines.
• Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA.
• Required to work on Mobile Mammography Van, when needed, including some weekends. All requirements and responsibilities apply when assigned on van.
