About The Position

Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma. Programs the mammography machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion. Prepares, maintains, and operates mammography equipment safely and responsibly while following radiation safety guidelines. Performs and documents all quality assurance and quality control tests defined by MQSA. Works on the Mobile Mammography Van when needed, including some weekends; all requirements and responsibilities apply when assigned to the van.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Two years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist position.
• Registered Technologist (R) (M) license.
• Mammo Quality Standards Act requirement.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in mammography.
