About The Position

Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma. Programs the machine for the correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion. Prepares, maintains, and operates mammography equipment safely and responsibly, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a non-degree program from a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Two years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist position.
• Registered Technologist (R) (M) license.
• Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in mammography.
