About The Position
MedQuest Associates, a partner of Novant Health Systems, is seeking dynamic diagnostic mammography technologists to join their innovative team. MedQuest is a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to team member growth and development through an internal multi-modality training program. This position is for Novant Health Imaging South Asheville, located at 1815 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC 28803. The position type is PRN, with a work schedule as needed to cover PTO for the center and mobile unit.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certification in Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certification in Mammography (M) and Breast Sonography (BS)
- 5+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Knowledge of Mammography procedures and standards
- Extensive experience in diagnostic mammography
- Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology
- Excellent technical abilities and attention to detail
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic mammography procedures
- Assisting with biopsies and other diagnostic interventions
- Providing critical diagnostic information to physicians
