About The Position

Performs mammographic examinations on patients of all age populations, contributing to efficient department operations and promoting Hamilton Medical Center's philosophy to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Assists in the clinical training of radiologic technology students. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide age-appropriate care, including knowledge of growth and development and the ability to assess patient information in relation to age-specific needs.

Requirements

• Two-year degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program deemed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT required.
• CPR required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patients’ age-appropriate needs.
• Ability to adjust routines to accommodate patients or department needs without affecting departmental flow.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks under specific supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Additional training from an accredited school and resulting certification in Mammography.
• Mammography Registry.
• Prior experience.
