Our breast imaging experts specialize in both screening and diagnostic imaging services for our patients, including mammography, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound and breast MRI. Our team also performs breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis. Our breast imaging researchers evaluate new technologies to better diagnose and treat breast tissue abnormalities. Some examples of our current research projects include evaluation of pre-operative localization techniques in the breast and axilla and evaluation of artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage, characterization and diagnosis. Johns Hopkins is currently looking for a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our elite Radiology team. As a Mammo Tech you will perform mammographic procedures of a routine and difficult nature, participate in scheduling procedures for the Breast Imaging Center and train/evaluate other technologists in performing mammographic procedures.
