About The Position

Join Solis Mammography as a Mammography Technologist and elevate your career. This position is located at Baylor All Saints in Downtown Fort Worth, TX. The department is the largest volume center in all of Solis Mammography, is an ACR Mammography Accredited Facility, and has 100% Breast Dedicated Radiologists on-site. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional Saturdays. Solis Mammography is recognized as a Great Place to Work for the fourth year in a row.

Requirements

Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience
Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Current CPR/BLS Certification
MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology

Nice To Haves

3D mammography experience preferred
Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS software is preferred
Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred

Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions
Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Practice safe procedures and adheres to radiation safety measures under the supervision of the Radiology supervisor or the Radiologist
Complete patient education regarding the exam
Perform diagnostic or screening mammogram as ordered
Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies
