The Mammography Technologist operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures. This will include x-ray and mammography with the opportunity to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization procedures and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
- CT State Radiographer's License required.
- ARRT (R) required - ARRT (M) preferred
- Current xray and mammography experience highly preferred.
- Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is very highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures, according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
- Operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures.
