About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist for a travel contract position in Santa Rosa, CA. This role involves providing high-quality mammography services in a busy outpatient setting. The technologist will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining high standards of image acquisition and quality. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography, and first-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome. The department sees an average of 20 patients per day and operates with 2 exam rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Mammography experience.
• First-time travelers accepted with relevant experience.
• Active California Mammography/Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications.
• Experience working in a 2-room Mammography department.
• Proficiency in Digital Mammography.
• Experience in Breast imaging.
• Skilled in Patient positioning.
• Knowledge of Breast compression techniques.
• Expertise in Image quality and acquisition.
• Strong Patient care and education skills.
• Experience with Screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient setting.
