About The Position
New Hospital Opening Soon! This position involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, assisting radiologists with biopsies and procedures, ensuring image quality and compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in quality assurance and peer review activities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- 2-3 years of mammography experience.
- Experience with diagnostic imaging and procedures.
- ARRT and ARRT (M) certifications.
- BLS certification.
- Proficient in diagnostic breast imaging.
- Knowledge of MQSA and ACR standards.
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
Nice To Haves
- Additional coursework in breast imaging preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms independently.
- Assist radiologists with breast biopsies and procedures.
