About The Position

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Mammography Technologist position to join our team of Diagnostic Imaging professionals. The Mammography Technologist demonstrates knowledge and skill necessary to provide high quality patient care. The Mammography Technologist, as part of an interdisciplinary team, works closely with and communicates appropriately with Radiologists, Primary Care Providers, patients and families. The Mammography Technologist promotes and supports regional breast cancer prevention efforts, while offering personal support to patients. The Mammography Technologist must have a passion for customer service excellence, compliance, compassion, team work and enjoy working with public.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology.
Active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART).
Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists.
Advanced certification in Mammography required.
Evidence of compliance with AART continuing education requirements.
Basic Life Support (BLS), required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred.

Responsibilities
