PRN Mammography Technologist (Outpatient)
About The Position
Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team! This is a PRN position, meaning it is as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, call-outs, etc. Shifts are available at all 4 outpatient imaging centers located in Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur. We are looking for dayshift coverage, between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, depending on the location. Outpatient Diagnostic Center is a full-service imaging center, dedicated to providing consistent, quality, state-of-the-art outpatient imaging services, with a deep commitment to customer service and patient care. With locations in Huntsville, Madison, Athens & Decatur, our professionally trained and registered Technologists are focused on serving these and the surrounding communities. Our services offered at affordable rates include Open MRI, CT Scan, 3D Mammography, Ultrasound, Bone Density, and X-ray. Outpatient Diagnostic Center is accredited with the American College of Radiology.
Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration.
- Hold a Mammography advanced registration through ARRT.
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures.
- Provide patient-focused care.
- Cover staffing gaps, vacation coverage, and call-outs as needed.
