About The Position

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. The department/center is ACR certified in Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy, and offers an excellent work-life balance in a cohesive and friendly environment.

Requirements

Texas Medical Board License - TMB
Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.

Nice To Haves

Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
