About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources presents an outstanding opportunity for a Mammographer/Radiology Technician to work in our Radiology department at Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, VA. This role is perfect for Mammographers and Radiology technicians with at least 2 years of experience, providing a platform to hone nursing skills in a high-level, state-of-the-art clinical environment where patients can enjoy compassionate, safe, and effective behavioral healthcare treatment. The position offers an excellent work/life balance in a vibrant community, with scheduled work hours of part-time, no holidays, 2 days during the week, and occasional Saturdays. The technician will operate specialized X-Ray equipment and perform various mammography related procedures including screenings and diagnostic studies in an outpatient environment focused on patient well-being. Requirements
- Successful completion of a program from an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
- Possess and maintain current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, as well as current ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT (M))
- Minimum of 2-year current experience in clinical applications
- Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Must be a U.S Citizen
