About The Position

Our client, a hospital, is seeking to add a NEW Mammography Tech to their team. Mammography Tech is responsible to perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with established protocols to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment. To be successful in the role of Mammography Tech, you must have advanced knowledge of mammography equipment operation and maintenance, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate with colleagues, ability to provide technical supervision and mentor less experienced staff or students, strong attention to detail, with a commitment to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy. This is a Direct Hire role.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of mammography equipment operation and maintenance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
Ability to provide technical supervision and mentor less experienced staff or students.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with established protocols to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Operate and maintain radiologic and mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns, explain procedures, and ensure a comfortable experience.
Provide technical supervision and mentorship to staff technologists and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.
