Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Requires completion of a federally approved 40 hour mammography training course within 3 Months (90 days) of hire and completion of 25 supervised mammography studies to meet Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) requirements.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality breast imaging as a Mammographer while ensuring patient safety and precise anatomical positioning for accurate diagnostic results.
  • Perform advanced mammography procedures using specialized imaging equipment to support early detection and provide exceptional direct patient care for women.
  • Educate patients on preventive breast health and clinical procedures to improve patient outcomes and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Execute strict radiation safety protocols and quality improvement standards to protect patients and maintain compliance as a licensed Mammography Technologist.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to evaluate image density and contrast, ensuring all mammography services meet essential technical quality benchmarks.
