About The Position

MedQuest Associates, a partner of Novant Health Systems, is seeking dynamic individuals to join their innovative team. MedQuest is a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to team members' growth and development through an internal multi-modality training program. This position is located at Durham Diagnostic Imaging and is a PRN float position between Independence & SouthPoint, working as needed to cover PTO during the week and on weekends.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
Certification in Mammography
ARRT registered and Mammography registry
Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
Active state licensure, where applicable
0 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.

Responsibilities

Integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
Completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.
