About The Position

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a Mammography Tech to provide specialized diagnostic and screening imaging services and care to patients. The role is accountable for obtaining optimal images using various types of diagnostic equipment and providing educational information about mammography and breast health.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday. Hours vary among 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The tech rotates between the Davenport and Bettendorf Imaging locations.

Requirements

• Iowa Permit to Practice.
• ARRT certification; must obtain ARRT (M) within 24 months of hire.
• Completion of a two-year college Radiological Technology program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized diagnostic and screening imaging services and care to patients during diagnostic and screening procedures.
• Be accountable for obtaining optimal images using various types of diagnostic equipment.
• Provide educational information about mammography and breast health.
